Parent champion volunteers (formerly called Ambassadors)

• Parent Champions are parent volunteers who give a few hours a week to talk to other parents about the local services available to them and are trained in key public health messages to share with the community

Starting Well Buddy volunteers

• SW Buddy volunteers support those in the community to hear key public health messages and to be supported to access support in the form of community groups, sessions and appointments
• They will also provide telephone or virtual contact with identified mothers antenatally and postnatally to reduce their sense of isolation and ensure they access the services that maintain their health and wellbeing during 1001 critical days.
